  • would've been a 5 star but the sync feature leaves a lot to be desired, it constantly keeps throwing me earlier in the file than I was. I would also appreciate more options for colours in quotes - not only shade vise but also the amount (min. 6 at least) and being able to filter the quotes based on colours. The colours in quotes are also hard to see - would be nice if the whole block was coloured not just the 3 dots. oh and I'd love to be able to choose a custom colour for the background

  • Long time user of free version, thought I would invest in premium. A bit disappointed that it didn't have option for easy transfer from free app. App didn't remember my last downloaded pdf after reading half the doc, so I had to find where I was. Not sure if this is a bug. I appreciate filter options so I can sort through 800+ docs, and the cloud sync works so far, though I haven't tested it on another device yet. This was my main reason for purchasing the premium, I'll update review soon.

  • I just bought the premium version after using the free app for a while. I love the ability to rename titles and authors in-app, as it lets me organise my library the way I want. One thing I am really missing is the ability to adjust margins. The standard margin leaves a substantial empty space on the sides of my phone, an S22 Ultra. Am I missing something in the Settings?

  • Despite claiming that it can sync data via Google Drive, the initial data must be in the phone first. This defeats the whole purpose of having cloud services. We normally store a large amount of data. For me this includes a number of e-books in the cloud, and I thought that the premium version can download it off Google Drive, but no. I need to download into my phone first. Then upload it again back again in order to enable sync. Otherwise, I have nothing against this app.

  • This is the only one that works perfectly as a reading app should be. Smooth and customizable interface. The only down side is it doesn't support DRM protected books (and I really wish it could!). The other apps that can read DRM are stressing me out with their interface.

  • The Best Reading App Upgraded! I absolutely love the ReadEra App and have had it for years (I think I found it 1 or 2 years after launch) and I've finally been able to get the Premium and boy was it worth it! Being able to look at multiple pages at once, sorting books in new way and being able to colour code my quotes and so much more. I haven't tried the audio reading yet but am keen to try it out

  • Delighted with this app. I chose it because it seems to be the best app to use with books in PDF format, which I prefer as they can be easily zoomed in and out. The app also includes a dictionary to look up words while I'm reading and is a great way of organising my mobile book library. After testing the free app I was sufficiently pleased that I bought the premium version which also sincs very well and saves my bookmarks across different devices.

  • A fantastic app that I'm glad I paid for! The only thing I wish it did is allow me to zoom on pages without having to hold down on the page first (ie; pinch to zoom at any point) The reason I would like to see this added is because I use it to read comic books, and sometimes I need to zoom in to read the panels or look at the finer details Definitely a great app nevertheless :)

  • I love this app! I upgraded to premium just days after getting the free version. Not disappointing in the least! It works perfectly for my needs, and since I have a lot of ebooks and read a lot, I found that I spend more time on ReadEra than I expected! Only one suggestion: I wish the app could have a password or PIN lock. I do appreciate Kid's Mode though! By far my favorite personal reading app!

  • Great app which I've been using for a long time. It is really good to be able to use the AI reader so you can 'read' books while you're doing domestic stuff & then revert to reading with device in hand. My only criticism is the AI reader can be poor on word & name pronunciation. You can build your own dictionary which is great for scientific or other specialised words. I use ReadEra daily and it's an essential part of my life

  • This is one of the most useful tools I've had the good fortune to install. I used the free version for only a few days before purchasing the paid version. While I do have a huge Kindle library, they don't trust their customers with the full version of the books they buy, so they should not be surprised that I value those who do. Project Gutenberg, Humble Bundle, the Von Mises Library, and a mort of others make an app like ReadEra outright essential. Combined with Calibre, it's a treasure!
